PETALING JAYA: Selangor menteri besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said in a statement today that he was saddened by the tragic landslide that took place early this morning near the campsite at the Father’s Organic Farm in Gohtong Jaya, Batang Kali.

He said he would accompany Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to visit the site of the landslide at 8.45 p.m. tonight.

As of 1.00 p.m. this afternoon, 16 people had died from the landslide while 17 were still missing.
