KUALA LUMPUR: “Enliven Women: The first ever transformation event designed to raise the spirits of women.”
Almost 150 women signed up for the first ever Enliven Women event curated for women based on mindfulness, self-discovery and personal growth.
This seven-hour event held at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort was truly inclusive, as it included women from all walks of life, including 10 women from the B40 community supported by social enterprise Thrive Well, young corporates, working mums, stay-at-home mums, and even entrepreneurs.
The event agenda which included workshops on Lifewheel, Gratitude and Building an Empowering Mindset created a lasting impact on all women who in their sharing at the end of the event mentioned how they felt a renewed zest to live better and happier lives through the teachings.
The Powerhouse Panel session also touched many hearts and there was not a single dry eye in the room, as the successful women in their respective fields including Aishah Sinclair (Speaker and Radio Announcer), Mac Chung Lynn (Founder and CEO of Nandos Malaysia and Singapore), Kaka Lam (Million Dollar Wealth Planner) and Winnie Chua (Co-founder of Policy Street which was recently invested by Khazanah National) shared personal stories and overcoming difficult times through the practice of self-love.
“The way women came together and volunteered their time to make this event impactful and successful was remarkable,” said 35-year-old Caleen Caseryn Chua, the visionary behind Enliven Women, and founder of Yoga for Mums, the Accelerator Chair for Entrepreneurs Organisation of Malaysia, Adidas Malaysia Yoga creator and also a mother of one.
“We had incredible support from Brand sponsors like Sothys Malaysia, Celovis Jewellery, Victoria Secret, Medicos, Claire Organics, Kintry, and Inside Scoop to name a few.
“Corporate partners like Valiram Group, Bonia Corporation, Focus Point, Gintell Group and Ying Global sent their teams to be uplifted through this event.
“Truly, I could not have imagined that so many would say ‘Yes’ to be part of this vision.”
Caleen believes inner positive energy and tranquillity (or calmness) are skills that can be taught to navigate through life’s challenges through the practice of mindfulness and gratitude.
Hence, she fully plays the role of a guide, helping other women in need learn to focus and pay attention to their inner needs, so as to cultivate inner tenacity.
Caleen is no novice when it comes to journeying with women after launching her Mind and Body Transformation programme for women three years ago during the pandemic, aiming to allow them to experience the mind and body transformation through practising yoga and mindfulness.
Her online programme has impacted over 200 women in four countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Australia.
With that, they are able to find inner peace and a way to resolve their negative emotions from the pressures of life.
She pays special attention to women who are neglected in life because of their need to fulfil their motherhood duties. This is because these women often experience emotional neglect and depression in the process of taking care of their children and families.
Her vision for Enliven Women is to continue to impact women from all walks of life and her vision continues with their upcoming Enliven Women Retreat on 2-3 March 2024, in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
She has already created communities of over 200 women and believes that when women come together to support one another, it can have a positive impact on families, and even communities.
“I truly resonate with this famous quote by Helen Keller ‘Alone we can do so little, Together we can do so much’.
“If every single one of us were to positively impact just one person around us, imagine the beautiful ripple effect we would create in the world.”
Encouraging women to network
“Women need to be in a supportive community to share ideas, encourage one another and discover new revelations.
“So I hope that Enliven Women can impact more women in Southeast Asia and empower women to be their best selves.
“This is my vision and goal.”
