Selangor MB Amirudin, exco sworn in

KLANG: Selangor Pakatan Harapan chairman Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari was sworn in as menteri besar for a second term.

Amirudin was sworn in before Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at 11.00 a.m. this morning at Istana Alam Shah to be the 17th menteri besar of Selangor.

He defeated Perikatan Nasional’s candidate and another independent candidate with a convincing majority in excess of 5,000 votes in Sungai Tua in the recent state election.

He was also the last menteri besar to be sworn in after the six state elections.

Meanwhile, the ten new executive councillors were sworn in at 2.00 p.m. this afternoon.

The state cabinet line-up includes four representatives from DAP, three from Parti Keadilan Rakyat, two from Parti Amanah Negara, and one from Umno.
