SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar will be sworn in this Saturday morning.

The new state executive councilors will also be sworn in on the same day.

A source told Sin Chew Daily Pakatan Harapan’s designated candidate for menteri besar is Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who is also Sungai Tua assemblyman and Gombak member of parliament.

“Pakatan Harapan has submitted three names to the Sultan as per the procedure, but Amirudin is the designated MB.

“Online media report that Amirudin will be replaced is not true.”

It has been reported earlier that Seri Setia assemblyman Fahmi Ngah would be appointed menteri besar instead of Amirudin.

Besides Amirudin and Fahmi, another name submitted to the Sultan is Tanjung Sepat assemblyman Borhan Aman Shah.
