PENANG: DAP National Chairman and candidate for Air Putih Lim Guan Eng stressed that he had no intention to become the next Penang deputy chief minister, let alone senior executive councilor.

He said he had been chief minister of Penang, and as a leader, he should instead groom the new generation leaders and provide them the opportunity to learn.

He also said this goes well with the party’s objective of reform, and to pass down the baton to new generation leaders in future.
