KUALA LUMPUR: Independent candidate for Batu Tian Chua will have a closed door meeting with Parti Keadilan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim before the November 19 polling day.

Tian Chua’s lawyer Gurmukh Singh told New Straits Times the meeting would be a four-eyed meeting at “an unspecified time and location before polling day.”

They have earlier been advised by the authorities to avoid a public meeting for fear of triggering clashes between their supporters.

It has been reported that Chua signed a statutory declaration two weeks ago to support Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as prime minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the 15th general election.
