PETALING JAYA: As of last week, the latest polls indicate that 50% of Chinese voters taking part in a survey are undecided while 15% said they would support Barisan Nasional and 35% support Pakatan Harapan, Rafizi said.
There is a 20% gap in terms of support from the Chinese voters for Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan. This situation is similar to that in the last election, according to the Parti Keadilan Rakyat deputy president.
Hence, he concluded that Chinese voters will still support PH although the voter turnout is a deciding factor.
Rafizi said there were trends indicating stronger Chinese support for BN about a year ago, but the trend reversed this June.
“We predict about 17% of Chinese support for BN, but are unsure if they will vote on the polling day,” he said.
