ALOR SETAR, May 12 (Sin Chew Daily) – Kedah PAS deputy commissioner 1  Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said a total of 23 state assemblymen had cast a vote of no confidence against menteri besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir.

He said in a press conference at the Kedah PAS headquarters that the 23 assemblymen had agreed to form the new Perikatan Nasional state government.

Muhammad Sanusi, who is also Jeneri state assemblyman, said the new PN state government had the support of 15 assemblymen from PAS, two from Umno, four from PPBM and two who had just quit PKR.
