No flights to Batu Berendam Airport
TAMPIN: For the past 18 months there have been no flights landing at Batu Berendam Airport.
Deputy Defense Minister Adly Zahari said 200,000 people landed at the airport in 2019.
However, since the airport reopened in the second half of 2022 after the Covid-19 pandemic, no flights have landed at the airport.
This is one of the cases of an industry yet to fully recover after the pandemic, said Adly, who is also Member of Parliament for Alor Gajah, during the Chinese New Year celebration and Chinese calligraphy competition organized by Tampin six Chinese clans association last Saturday.
