PENANG: A total of 200 free prosthetic legs are available for needy Malaysians of all races.

The Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Society Penang is offering prosthetic legs free of charge in May 2024. The deadline to apply for one is December 15.

Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother of Thailand, has been invited by the society to sponsor the technical support for the production of customized prosthetic legs.

Those in need of prosthetic legs can submit a photocopy of their identity cards, a copy of letter from a doctor, a photograph of the applicant in a standing position, and a photograph of the amputated portion and the registration form.

The documents should be mailed to Che Hoon Khor Moral Uplifting Society Penang, 360 Jalan Macalister, 10450 Penang.
