PUTRAJAYA: The Election Commission announced that the Pelangai state seat by-election will be held on October 7 (Saturday).

Nomination will be on September 23 (Saturday) while early voting is on October 3 (Tuesday).

The incumbent assemblyman and Pahang executive councillor Datuk Seri Johari Harun was killed when the light aircraft he was in crashed in Shah Alam on August 17.
