PETALING JAYA: The anti-hopping bill will only be tabled in Dewan Rakyat after a parliamentary select committee has finalised the definition for “party-hopping” and then discussed and approved by the cabinet.

A source told Sin Chew Daily there would not be another special parliamentary sitting soon, as the above requires time.

As such, once the definition is finalised, the bill will most likely be tabled in the parliament only in July.
