KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 13 (Sin Chew Daily) — Civic-minded citizens take their own initiative to paste social distancing stickers outside a national vaccination center.
This group of people also brought traffic safety cones to be placed outside the vaccination center at Rumah Prihatin @ Grand Seasons to prevent a repeat of large crowds of migrant workers not observing social distancing while queuing up for vaccination.
They took action immediately at night after the video clip of a sardine-packed crowd waiting to receive injections outside the vaccination center went viral on social media.
They referred the move as Project SOP to remind members of the public the importance of queuing at a safe distance.
Netizen Umirah Mohd Taib posted a video on Instagram after she and her husband saw the sardine-packed crowd with no physical distancing by the roadside while they were on their way to Kampung Baru.
Umirah's husband Sakibu Samsudin joined Project SOP to put the social distancing stickers on the floor.
