KUALA LUMPUR, July 28 (Sin Chew Daily) — Supported by the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers and 15 other organizations, more than 200 merchants have signed up for the online Taiwan expo to be held from August 4 to 6.
The online expo will be launched at 10.30am on August 4.
Merchants get to have virtual interactions. Close to 1,000 appointments have since been placed in advance for B2B interactions.
The expo is becoming a key platform for trade between Malaysia and Taiwan in recent years.
It is held online for the second year where products, services and technologies of 160 manufacturers from Taiwan will be presented to Malaysian buyers directly with potentials to collaborate.
The expo is divided into six themes – e-mobility, post-pandemic era, industry 4.0, halal products, Taiwan lifestyles, tourism, culture and education.
A total of ten galleries are organized to showcase Taiwanese boutiques, halal products, commercial products, health products, e-mobility, Meet Taiwan, cultural products, Chiayi Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee, Taiwan delicacies and Taipei city government at the online expo.
Online product launches will also be held during the expo.
The online expo will start from July 29 where Malaysian merchants are required to register as a member of the foreign trade association to view the products presented through 3D online gallery.
