PUTRAJAYA, Apr 13 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,767 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported cases.

Sarawak reported 607 new cases, followed by Selangor (483), Kuala Lumpur (133), Sabah (117) and Kelantan (103).

To date there are a cumulative total of 363,940 confirmed cases and 346,295 recoveries (including 1,290 discharged today) at 95.15% recovery rate.

12 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,345.

There are currently 16,300 active cases, including 199 at ICUs, 82 requiring ventilators.
