PUTRAJAYA, Mar 23 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,384 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including nine imported cases.

Selangor reported 625 new cases, followed by Johor (161), Sarawak (140) and Penang (100).

To date there are a cumulative total of 335,540 confirmed cases and 319,842 recoveries (including 1,058 discharged today) at 95.32% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,244.

There are currently 14,454 active cases, including 148 at ICUs, 62 requiring ventilators.
