PUTRAJAYA, Feb 22 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 2,192 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Selangor reported 910 new cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur (303), Sarawak (221), Johor (211), Perak (148), Penang (135) and Sabah (110).

To date there are a cumulative total of 285,761 confirmed cases and 252,623 recoveries (including 3,414 discharged today) at 88.40% recovery rate.

Six new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 1,062.

There are currently 32,076 active cases, including 199 at ICUs, 91 requiring ventilators.
