PUTRAJAYA, Dec 8 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 1,012 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including seven imported cases.

Selangor reported the highest number of new cases at 417, followed by Sabah (271), Johor (108) and Kuala Lumpur (98).

To date there are a cumulative total of 75,306 confirmed cases and 64,056 recoveries (including 1,750 discharged today) at 85.1% recovery rate.

Four new deaths were reported, taking the toll to 388.

There are currently 10,862 active cases, including 126 at ICUs, 62 requiring ventilators.
