IPOH. Dec 8 (Sin Chew Daily) – PAS called off last-minute the audience with Perak's Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah this afternoon, sparking speculation that the party has changed its mind of supporting Perikatan Nasional state government.

During a telephone interview with Sin Chew Daily, Perak PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria did not explain why the audience was called off or whether the party had signed a statutory declaration to support any menteri besar candidate.

He said it would be up to the party's central leadership to decide.

When asked whether the party's three state assemblymen would support Perak Umno liaison committee chairman Datuk Saarani Mohamad as menteri besar, Razman said the decision would be made by the party's central leadership and that there was no decision as yet.

He also did not reveal when the party would have an audience with the Sultan again to state the party's stand, adding that he was still awaiting instructions from the party leadership.
