KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – Member of Parliament for Simpang Renggam Dr Maszlee Malik said in a Facebook post today that he had withdrawn from Parti Pejuang in order to focus on helping the rakyat afflicted by COVID-19.

In the statement, he said, "I believe rakyat have grown nauseous with the game of power and politics by elite politikus.

"Rakyat are in need of politicians who focus on supporting and truly solving the adversities they are currently facing."
