PUTRAJAYA, Nov 1 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 957 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, all locally transmitted.

Sabah is the most badly hit state with 644 new cases, followed by Selangor (225) and Penang (23).

To date there are a cumulative total of 32,505 confirmed cases and 22,220 recoveries (including 972 discharged today) at 68.36% recovery rate.

No new death was reported.

There are currently 10,036 active cases, including 97 at ICUs, 27 requiring ventilators.
