PUTRAJAYA, Aug 6 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 15 new COVID-19 case were reported in the country as of noon today, including five imported cases.

Of the ten locally transmitted cases, six were from the Sivagangga PUI cluster in Kedah, two were from Negeri Sembilan, and one each from Kuala Lumpur and Labuan.

To date there are a cumulative total of 9,038 confirmed cases and 8,713 recoveries (including 11 discharged today) at 96.40% recovery rate.

No new death has been reported.

There are currently 200 active cases, including two at ICUs, one requiring a ventilator.
