Shahruddin: Yes, I’m prepared to quit as deputy minister
KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – Deputy works minister Datuk Dr Shahruddin Md Salleh said he indeed was prepared to quit his deputy minister post.
Shahruddin confirmed with Sin Chew Daily that the post on PPBM Youth's Facebook today that he was prepared to quit, was indeed his own statement.
"Yes, I am prepared to (quit as deputy minister for the sake of party unity)."
However, he said he had no idea whether minister in the prime minister's department (special functions) Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md Yusof would also resign, as speculated.
"You have to ask him yourself!"
