20 new cases, 66 discharged
PUTRAJAYA, June 2 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 20 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including 15 imported and five locally transmitted cases.
Of the five locallly transmitted cases, two involve Malaysians and three, foreigners.
To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,877 confirmed cases and 6,470 recoveries (including 66 discharged today) at 82.14% recovery rate.
No new death has been reported.
There are currently 1,292 active cases, including six at ICUs, two requiring ventilators.
