PUTRAJAYA, May 20 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 31 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, including ten imported cases. Ten of the newly reported cases involve non-citizens.

To date, there are a cumulative total of 7,009 positive cases, 5,706 recoveries (including 60 discharged today) at 81.41% recovery rate, and 114 deaths (no new death reported today).

There are currently 1,189 active cases, including 11 in ICUs, seven requiring ventilators.
