PETALING JAYA, May 13 (Sin Chew Daily) – A PPBM leader from Tun Mahathir's camp today produced the voice recording of a man believed to be prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the party's supreme council meeting at 14:00 on February 23, the same day as "Sheraton move".
The voice recording shows that Muhyiddin personally urged party leaders to give then prime minister cum party chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad time to decide whether to pull the party out of Pakatan Harapan.
It also shows that "Muhyiddin camp" had wanted Tun Mahathir to quit PH and form a new alliance with other parties. Tun Mahathir was also requested to reshuffle the cabinet before the next parliamentary sitting.
"Can we give Tun another week?
"We are contemplating the biggest question in history, to quit PH. We'll still be government if we shift to another alliance, a PPBM-led government.
"In principle our meeting today is over. We'll later authorize Tun Mahathir (to decide whether to quit PH).
"We must respect him. He's been prime minister for so long. We'll do anything he wants us to do."
