PUTRAJAYA, May 12 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 16 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 6,742.

In addition, 110 cases were discharged today with total recoveries at 5,223 at a recovery rate of 77.5%.

No new death has been reported, while 16 cases are being treated at ICUs, three requiring ventilators.
