Putrajaya, Apr 27 (Sin Chew Daily) – Director-general of health Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 40 new COVID-19 cases in the country as of noon today, bringing the total number of positive cases to 5,820.

There are a total of 3,957 recoveries, including 95 discharged today, and one additional death, total 99.

There are currently 1,764 active cases, with 37 being treated at ICUs, 17 requiring ventilators.
