(Bukit Tinggi) Witnessed by family members, relatives and friends, Malaysian mixed doubles badminton players Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai Jemie tie the knot at The Chateau Spa & Wellness Resort in Bukit Tinggi on 4 May.

The mixed doubles’ coach, Rosman Razak, former Indonesian women’s doubles player Greysia Polii, the Olympic women’s doubles winner and South Korean women’s double player Chang Ye Na, champion of Sudirman Cup were present at the wedding reception.

Malaysian players Vivian Ho, Goh Liu Ying， Ong Yew Sin , Goh V Shem and others were also present.

Goh and Lai teamed up in October 2016 until now and announced their relationship in 2021.

The couple announced their engagement after Goh proposed to Lai on 27 December 2022.

The couple won the Swiss Open as mixed pair in end of March but missed the cut to Paris Olympic.
