Anwar’s audience with King this morning could be related to cabinet reshuffle
PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim arrived at Istana Negara at 10.45 a.m. this morning to have an audience with His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah.
Their meeting lasted for about an hour, and the prime minister was seen leaving the palace at 11.45 a.m.
It is learned that the purpose for Anwar’s audience with the King is believed to seek His Majesty’s opinion on possible cabinet reshuffle.
It has been reported that a leader from the Unity Government had hinted that cabinet reshuffle would be officially announced earliest by today (Sept. 29).
