KOTA BHARU: Kelantan caretaker deputy menteri besar Datuk Mohd Amar Abdullah said even if the Unity Government rules the state of Kelantan, it would not be able to resolve the state’s water supply problem.
He reminded the public that the people in Kelantan could still bathe three times a day, and that the situation had not reached a stage where there would not be a single drop of water from the tap.
To him, Kelantan’s water supply problem will persist whoever rules the state.
“Don’t tell me there is no water supply problem in Penang or Selangor.
“People say PAS is trying to divert public attention, but this is the fact!
“Are you going to change the government just because of water supply problem?
“Don’t you see that the problems are still not solved after more than 30 years of PAS rule in Kelantan?
“The problem is, when BN was in government they didn’t provide allocation. We have not received anything from them for the past ten years!”
