KAJANG: Lee Khai Ming from DAP Balakong said someone had attempted to undermine the chances of PH-BN on the eve of the six state elections with an old video of him at a dinner back in June.
Lee told Sin Chew Daily he did not deny the things he had said during that dinner, and he was not worried about any action taken against him. However, he insisted that he was only telling the truth.
He said he accepted the decision by party secretary-general Anthony Loke to suspend his party membership, adding that he would not campaign for any candidate or DAP on the final day of election campaign.
He said it was obvious that someone had intended to undermine PH-BN’s chances on the eve of the polling day.
“I will not campaign for anyone for the time being, but will continue to serve the people, especially the ambulance service on public donations.”
He also said the incident would not affect his mood, and he urged the voters to come out tomorrow to cast their ballots.
