BUTTERWORTH: It is said that P. Ramasamy, who was recently dropped from DAP’s Penang election line-up, will quit the party.

It is understood that he will make an announcement in a media conference tomorrow.

The media received an invitation this afternoon to attend a media conference by Ramasamy, who is also DAP’s Penang deputy chairman, to be held at the election office of independent candidate for Perai David Marshell at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow.

A reliable source said Ramasamy would announce his resignation from DAP tomorrow and would campaign for his protégé David Marshel, who quit as Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) councilor to stand as an independent candidate.
