PENANG: Gerakan Rakyat president Datuk Dominic Lau Hoe Chai visited the coffee shop at Teluk Kumbar this morning to personally apologize to the noodle hawker over the incident his campaign team forgot to pay after eating.

“The hawker said the viral post on social media was not posted by her.”

Lau told the media he felt apologetic for the inconvenience caused to the hawker.

“Anything you can come after me, but don’t drag the hawker or other people into the mud. That’s unprofessional!”
