TANAH MERAH: Kelantan caretaker menteri besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob said the state government offered free bus rides for public and private university students having financial difficulty to return home to vote on August 12, and this should not been seen as vote-buying.

“We have conducted the survey and we understand the needs of the people.

“The Kelantan state government has not canceled the free bus service because this is the promise we made earlier to the people.

“We are only offering free bus service, but people accuse us of vote-buying!

“Allocation promise by deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is blatant vote-buying!”
