PENANG: Parti Gerakan Rakyat president Datuk Dr. Dominic Lau Hoe Chai said Kedah caretaker menteri besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is a good friend of him, and water supply to Penang will not be a problem if the state is governed by Perikatan Nasional.

When asked who PN’s candidate for Penang chief minister is, Lau said the coalition had yet to discuss this question.

However, he said he would try his best to resolve the problems such as affordable housing for the people and severe traffic congestion on the island.

He also said he is against any land reclamation project.
