KUALA LUMPUR: Penang Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Musa Sheikh Fadzir said the Penang seat allocation negotiation between Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional scheduled for today in Kuala Lumpur would be postponed until after this week’s Umno general assembly.
He told Sin Chew Daily that party leaders had been very busy of late, especially with the Umno general assembly to be held from this Wednesday to Saturday, and as such both sides had agreed to postpone their meeting.
“The new date will be set after the Umno assembly.”
He revealed that the two alliances had agreed to postpone the talks last night.
Penang PH chairman Chow Kon Yeow said yesterday the talks had reached 95%, with only one seat still undecided,
Musa declined to reveal which seat was still undecided.
