KUALA LUMPUR: PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man denied that his party helped its supporters change their addresses so that they can vote for Perikatan Nasional in Selangor in the coming state elections.
He accused the rivals of slander because they were “afraid of PAS.”
In a short message reply to Sin Chew Daily, Tuan Ibrahim said, “Such a claim is baseless because the voters need time to log into the system to change their addresses.
“If I’m not wrong, this will typically take six months.”
He also said it was impossible for any party to do this for the coming state elections, as eligible voters are based on the electoral roll of the previous quarter before the election.
