PETALING JAYA: Although Khairy Jamaluddin could face sacking in tomorrow’s Umno supreme council meeting, he said he had never thought of leaving the party.

Umno is expected to decide in tomorrow’s supreme council meeting whether to take disciplinary action against Khairy for the remarks he made at the party’s recent general assembly.

In the worst case scenario, Khairy could be sacked by Umno.

When contacted by Sin Chew Daily, the former health minister said he had no intention of leaving Umno.

And when asked whether he had prepared for the worst, he said he was always ready for anything.

Khairy said he would only decide his next course of action after knowing the reasons for any action taken by the supreme council tomorrow.
