KUALA LUMPUR: Transport minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook announced today that the government would provide RM40 million allocation to Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).

He announced the good news at a press conference during his visit to the university with deputy finance minister Steven Sim Chee Keong.

Also present at the press conference were chairman of the board of trustees of TARC Education Foundation Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong and TAR UMT board of governors chairman Tan Sri Liow Tiong Lai.
