PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will announce the cabinet line-up this afternoon in a press conference at the Prime Minister’s Department.

He will only announce the names of two deputy prime ministers and cabinet ministers, while the list of deputy ministers will likely be announced a week later.

Cabinet ministers appointed today are expected to be sworn in tomorrow at Istana Negara.

Anwar has said the cabinet line-up would be announced latest by this afternoon, and that a special cabinet meeting would be held next Monday to discuss and finalize new government policies.
