KUALA LUMPUR: A source says MCA, a component party of Barisan Nasional, may just choose to remain as an opposition party, not joining any coalition to form the new federal government.

“MCA will have a decision tomorrow. We won’t lean towards PH and possibly not join the PN government either.”

The source says MCA does not wish to see the country moving towards religious extremism.
