KUANTAN: Pahang DAP chairman Leong Ngah Ngah confirmed that the state Pakatan Harapan had contacted Barisan Nasional, and that both coalitions had reached a consensus on the formation of the next state government.
When contacted by Sin Chew Daily, Leong said, “Yes, we contacted and reached some preliminary consensus that a BN state assemblyman would be next Pahang menteri besar.
“Please be patient. Things should clear up in another day,” he concluded.
Perikatan Nasional won 17 of the 42 state assembly seats in Pahang; BN and PH won 16 and eight respectively.
Election for Tioman state assembly seat has been postponed to next month.
