PETALING JAYA: Parti Keadilan Rakyat deputy president Rafizi Ramli confirmed that the party’s candidate for Kuala Sepetang state assembly seat, former public services department (JPA) deputy director-general Zainal Azman Abu Seman, would be the next Perak menteri besar if Pakatan Harapan wins the election.
Meanwhile, Rafizi admitted that he held very different views from party president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the party’s candidate selection committee over the choice of candidate for Sungai Buloh parliamentary seat.
“We spent the most time discussing about the candidature of Sungai Buloh.”
He said he and the selection committee had proposed that incumbent member of parliament Sivarasa Rasiah defend the seat, but Anwar preferred a new face.
