PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has clarified that it does not offer any online assistant job at the rate of RM200 per day.

EPF posted on its Facebook last Thursday reminding members of the public not to fall prey to a fake job advertisement that the EPF is hiring online assistants.

It said vacancies in EPF would only be found on LinkedIn EPF Malaysia and Jobstreet.

EPF also inserted hashtags such as #KWSP, #KWSPInfo and #JanganJadiMangsaScammer in the Facebook post.

From the photo posted, the fake job offer was looking for online assistants with no restrictions on physical locations. It would also offer a one-on-one training. The applicants were required to have a laptop or smartphone and possess basic computer skills.
