PETALING JAYA: Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Hermono said the first batch of Indonesian maids is expected to arrive here at the end of this month.

He told Sin Chew Daily the Indonesian authorities had opened up the platform for Malaysian agencies to register to bring Indonesian maids into Malaysia.

He said Malaysian agencies should seek partnerships with their Indonesian counterparts and sign the contracts.

He also said some local agencies had already issued work orders and it now depends on when their Indonesian partners would release the workers.
