In Johor, a chance to redeem the spirit of GE14
By:Prof Dr. Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi

On the 12th of March, Malaysians of all races, faiths and cultures would have a rare opportunity to send a strong message to the governing political parties who the boss really is, and redeem the victory that was taken away by what was deemed popularly as the traitorous Sheraton Move.

With Tun Mahathir, in ill health, stomping the grounds for Pejuang, Muhyiddin dancing his way into the campaign, Bossku smiling for every selfie and a stern Tok Guru trying to sell his false piety, the Malays would be hard pressed to choose from these many Hulubalang Melayu.

The best of the corrupt, the immoral, the traitorous and the incompetent leadership of the Malays are on show.

Who will the Malays choose, I wonder, demi Melayu dulu, kini dan sampai bila-bila?

But for most good and honest Malaysians, there is a choice to be made that is of a different kind.

Malaysians are not looking for the strongman leader that would wrong the right and elevate the immoral, but they will hopefully vote for a reinstatement of our fundamental right to safeguard not only the economic survival of our children but their very dignity as Malaysians proud of their heritage, faiths and traditions.

With Tun M, Malaysians have a chance to show the old man that we know very well who planned the downfall of the hopes of all Malaysians.

After he took office, it was none other than Mahathir, who planned to destroy Pakatan Harapan and tried to shift blame on others, that this man has no moral standing nor conscience when Malaysians were willing to forgive his sins but he is still the same sinister politician of little worth.

While the Malay votes are split up like never before, there is a chance to redeem the spirit of GE14.

What would Muhyiddin offer Malaysians? Under his watch, the democratic rights of Malaysians were terminated by declaring an Emergency just to save his behind and then when all ends, there was declared no Emergency at all.

It was bad enough that he expelled the best Speaker in the person of Tun Ariff and put in a bunch of worthless office bearers that have tainted the sacred office of impartiality and morality forever.

When the Chief Minister of Kedah destroyed a Hindu shrine and threatened all other shrines for demolition, did Muhyiddin speak up? No, he was completely silent. Now he shouts to protect the rights of non-Malays and even attends a ‘half naked dance’ just to curry favor.

What about Umno and the BN? This is a coalition of parties that seem to condone the acts of taking money away from our children’s future by allowing the smiling Bossku to make rounds and speeches.

Apa lagi mau cakap? No need to say too much about the BN-lah. Their last 40 years of record speaks for themselves with the destruction of civil institutions, judiciary and enforcement agency.

This party will ensure that future MACC boleh buat apa saja and still get titles, perks and promotion, while the rakyat drown of floods in ill planned, ill maintained cities and settlements.

What should I say about PAS and its leaders? I feel ashamed and depressed that I am of the same religion as these people.

PAS now is so different from the PAS that led the Reformasi movement. PAS now is in the Siapa Mau Kasi Movement. This party is corrupt, immoral and devoid of conscience as part of the people of Malaysia.

This party puts Islam to shame!

Regardless of all the history of Malay leadership, the Malays who are in the educated middle and upper-middle classes as well as the kampung people will still choose between these parties for the sake of Melayu Selamanya.

That is their inalienable right and choice to trust these leaders again!

But for Malaysians, while the Malay votes are split up like never before, there is a chance to redeem the spirit of GE14.

Malaysians are not just saving Johor but also the future of the country herself.

Barring another Emergency declaration, the future of Malaysia has always been our choice to make…isn’t it?
