PETALING JAYA, Jan 12 (Sin Chew Daily) — A group of Malay singers are presenting Chinese New Year song “Dong Dong Qiang” on YouTube to usher in the Year of the Tiger.

Donned in the auspicious red attire, Ayie Floor 88, Harry Khalifah, Sarah Suhairi, Beby Acha, Lia Aziz and Aidilia Hilda wish all the viewers a prosperous Chinese New Year in Malay with mandarin oranges, lion dance and shouts of “Huat ah!”

Uploaded on YouTube on January 7, the music video has received encouraging response with over 300,000 views so far.
