PUTRAJAYA, June 21 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 4,611 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including 21 imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,346 new cases, followed by Sarawak (682), Perak (453), Negeri Sembilan (437), Johor (314), Kuala Lumpur (310), Kelantan (219), Melaka (205), Kedah (182), Sabah (166) and Labuan (130).

To date there are a cumulative total of 701,019 confirmed cases and 633,624 recoveries (including 5,439 discharged today) at 90.39% recovery rate.

69 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 4,477.

There are currently 62,918 active cases, including 880 at ICUs, 452 requiring ventilators.
