PUTRAJAYA, June 16 (Sin Chew Daily) – A total of 5,150 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the country as of noon today, including three imported cases.

Selangor reported 1,914 new cases, followed by Negeri Sembilan (607), Sarawak (570), Kuala Lumpur (480), Johor (392), Kelantan (230), Kedah (228), Sabah (184), Melaka (152) and Labuan (101).

To date there are a cumulative total of 673,026 confirmed cases and 600,935 recoveries (including 7,240 discharged today) at 89.29% recovery rate.

73 new deaths were reported today, taking the toll to 4,142.

There are currently 67,949 active cases, including 924 at ICUs, 453 requiring ventilators.
